ABOUT US

Our Senior Pastor

Rustin Rossello

Pastor Rustin Rossello began serving as Scottsdale Bible Church’s senior pastor in 2026, following 15 years of ministry experience in various roles at our church, including Teaching Pastor, Lead Campus Pastor, and member of our Executive Leadership Team. As our senior leader, he is responsible to the Elders for the health and growth of our ministries and staff.

Rustin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Arizona State University and a Master of Arts from Phoenix Seminary. He also completed a rigorous ordination process at Scottsdale Bible Church prior to his appointment by the members.

Shaped by transformation, equipped through ministry, and gifted to teach, Rustin is a visionary leader with a passion for sharing biblical truth and guiding others toward freedom in Christ. He and his wife, Jaime, have two children, Marley and McCoy. Rustin leads from a place of authenticity and grace, and God has uniquely equipped him to carry our mission forward—to reach the lost and equip God’s people.

Our Elder Leadership

Scottsdale Bible Church is managed by a volunteer board of Elders, elected to supervise the church's leadership, ministry, and activities. Collaborating with SBC's pastors and led by the Holy Spirit, the Elders align the church's mission and ministries with biblical guidelines. They also sanction the yearly budget and oversee fund allocation for SBC's ministries.

Men serving as Elders at Scottsdale Bible Church are chosen and interviewed by an elected nominating committee. They are then proposed to the current Elder Board and SBC members for approval through a formal vote. These candidates are active leaders at SBC, known for their exemplary Christian character, integrity, and adherence to biblical qualifications as outlined in Titus 1:6–9 and I Timothy 3:1–7. The committee aims to recommend a diverse group of men in age, ethnicity, background, and expertise for effective representation and service to the SBC congregation.

Elders serve four-year terms, with eligibility for renomination after a one-year break from their term. Annually, around one-fourth of the Elders' terms expire. The Board consists of 12 to 20 voting members.
