Our Next Campus
We’re thrilled to announce plans for a new SBC campus coming to Tempe, a pivotal step in our vision to become a church for the entire Valley! Our prayer is to complete renovations and open the doors to this campus in late 2025. If you are already participating in For the Valley, thank you! If you are new to this vision, we invite you to take part in this exciting effort to bring the hope of Jesus to ASU students and our neighbors in Tempe, Mesa, Gilbert, and Chandler!

Investing in Local Churches
We’ve invested $2.2 million into churches across the Valley that need support and resources to grow and thrive. Our volunteer teams are committed to providing more than just financial help—they are praying for, encouraging, and equipping these churches to flourish.
Growing Our Church Family
SBC Fountain Hills, launched in 2022, is thriving! In 2024, we expanded with a new ministry center, and saw 11% growth overall, including 15% growth in student ministry and 50% growth in Discovery Kids.
SBC Tempe is set to open later this year, positioning us to reach a brand-new community that includes the large student population at ASU. We’re also actively exploring new opportunities for a future campus in the West Valley.
The work isn’t finished yet, but God is moving in extraordinary ways. Thank you for being part of this journey as we serve and reach the Valley together!
Since launching For the Valley in 2022, we have seen God work in powerful ways, multiplying the generosity of His people at SBC to transform lives and expand His Kingdom. Here’s how this vision is making an impact:
Caring for Foster Children
In partnership with Firm Foundation Youth Homes, we fully fund and oversee a group home for girls (ages 7-18), providing a safe, loving environment where they are mentored to grow into the women God created them to be. Volunteers generously serve at Gigi’s Cottage, offering meals, gift baskets, and support that makes a lasting difference.
Empowering Foster Families
More SBC families are stepping up to become licensed foster parents or walking alongside those who do. In 2024, 15 new families began the fostering process, and SBC is supporting them every step of the journey. Each summer, nearly 200 foster kids and teens experience the love of Christ at Royal Family Kids Camp and Teen Reach Adventure Camp—life-changing moments of joy and hope.
