Looking for community and real conversations about life and faith? YA is the place for young adults, ages 18-33, to connect, worship and grow together. It’s a great place to make new friends, hear practical teaching, and be a part of something meaningful and fun.
Young Adults Retreat | October 24-26 | UCYC, Prescott
Get away for a weekend designed just for young adults (18–33). Enjoy meaningful teaching, worship, and prayer while building new friendships. It’s the perfect chance to recharge, connect, and grow. Bring a friend and don’t miss it!

What would it look like to approach your finances with peace instead of stress? This practical, biblical class from the Ron Blue Institute will help you gain confidence, apply proven financial principles, and experience greater freedom and contentment in your financial life.

Our SBC Tempe community is growing—and you can be part of it! Gather with us every Sunday in the Shea Venue for live worship, vision from Pastor Joel Thompason, and teaching from Pastor Jamie on the big screen. Come be a part of what God is doing as we grow together and look ahead to our campus launch.
Bunk Bed Build | Saturday, October 18 | Phoenix
Looking for a meaningful way to serve others? Join us as we partner with Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) to build bunk beds for vulnerable kids and families. As a volunteer, you’ll help prep, sand, and stain the bunk-bed wood in their air-conditioned facility while making new friends!
Special Ministries Day Camp | November 7 & 8 | Shea & Offsite
Our Special Ministries Adults (ages 18+) are excited to “blast off” to an amazing adventure at their outer-space-themed fall camp, and you can join the fun by volunteering! The camp features fun activities, delicious meals, and a visit to Reigning Grace Ranch for hayrides, horseback riding, and horse grooming. You can be a buddy to one of the campers or help in another area.
