Helping kids discover who God is and His plan for their life.

In Discovery Kids, we aim to create a Christ-centered, grace-filled environment where children (ages birth – 5th grade) and their families are empowered to live out God’s Word in their daily lives. Dedicated teachers use a consistent curriculum across all campuses, covering the Bible from beginning to end over a three-year period. Parents and children can choose to engage with interactive weekly resources that apply to the weekly lesson, making it real and personal to everyday life.

Pre-register before your first visit! Upon arrival, visit Kids Check in the Discovery Kids building for your class assignment, check-in stickers, and a FREE gift.

Community for Kids of All Ages

Weekly Programming

  • 0-18 months

    NURSERY

    Infants, crawlers, walkers, and toddlers are grouped in classes perfect for their age and development. Parents are notified if a child is ready to progress to the next level.

  • 18 months - 3 Years

    VOYAGER

    Discovery Kids is an exciting place for preschool kids! They worship together, learn from storytellers, watch amazing videos, and hear from puppet friends as they enjoy a fantastic journey through the Bible.

  • 4 years – Grade 1

    EXPLORER

    Kids in this age group explore the Bible to discover God as they enjoy a three-year journey from Genesis to Revelation. They also experience a fun large-group gathering with teaching, worship, and puppetry.

  • Grades 2–5

    PATHFINDERS

    Our Pathfinders begin the exciting journey of discovering God’s plan for their lives. As they learn about the entire Bible, they focus on practical application, authentic community, and beginning a life of outreach to others.

Child Dedications

On behalf of the Discovery Kids ministry at SBC, we would like to celebrate with you and congratulate you on your little one. Our child dedications offer a formal opportunity for parents to publicly commit themselves to raising their children in the instruction and discipline of the Lord, giving them opportunities to know God and establish a personal relationship with Christ.

If you wish to dedicate your child, please sign up and we will be in touch with details about upcoming opportunities.

Safe & Secure

All volunteers in Discovery Kids are background and reference checked. They are also fully trained in emergency procedures and abide by the rule of three, ensuring each child is always with a group of three or more people. Security cameras throughout our buildings and gated playgrounds provide added security for your children while they are on our campuses.
