Get Ready to Start Your Immerse Summer Reading Challenge!

The SBC Immerse Summer Challenge is back, and this year we’ll explore the last book in the series, Immerse: Poets. Presented without chapter and verse divisions in the easy-to-read New Living Translation, Immerse books are approachable and fun to read.

Immerse: Poets presents the poetical books of the Old Testament in two groupings: the songbooks—Psalms, Lamentations, and Song of Songs; and the wisdom writings—Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Job. These writings all reflect the down-to-earth faith of God’s people as they lived out their covenant relationship with Him in worship and wise living.

Reading Poets will encourage us to live with authenticity, joy, and dependence on God’s wisdom and guidance. Take advantage of the resources we’ll be offering during this 8-week journey and consider joining a discussion group at your campus!

Here are testimonies of what God has done through the Immerse study.

If you’d like to share your testimony about your Immerse experience email us or post to social media using the hashtag #SBCImmerse.
