Sundays | 9am | 11am Our Children’s Ministry partners with parents of children ages birth through 5th grade to teach the Word of God in a nurturing and grace-filled environment. We have wonderfully dedicated teachers who give their time faithfully to teach the kids on a weekly basis. All SBC campuses use the same curriculum, which goes through the Bible from beginning to end over a three-year time period. In addition to kid-friendly and age-appropriate lessons, the teachers lovingly continue to build on the strong foundation of God’s Word through music, singing, skits, video, and group involvement. Our Shea kids are seeing God’s Word in action! Our goal is to give kids and their families valuable support in a loving atmosphere where they can connect with one another in relationships centered on Christ. It is our desire to teach kids and families how to live out God’s Word and make it real in their daily lives as they connect and grow here at Scottsdale Bible. We want your kids to still receive Bible lessons and encouragement during this time. Birth to 18 months
Our nursery offers a safe and welcoming environment where parents can feel comfortable leaving their children. Babies are regularly prayed over, and children are grouped as Infants, Crawlers, or Walkers based on age and development.
18 months – 3 years
Voyagers experience worship, playground time, storytelling, and teaching through the Bible in their classrooms. Our goal is to partner with parents to help children discover who God is and get to know Him through His Word.
4 years – Grade 1
Explorers enjoy fun and engaging activities in their classrooms plus large-group worship and teaching in our Warehouse. Our goal is that they discover who God is, understand the gospel, and learn how the whole Bible points to Jesus.
2nd – 5th Grade
Pathfinders begin the exciting journey of discovering God’s plan for their lives. Engaging classroom activities and large-group worship and teaching help them discover how God has uniquely gifted them for a life of worship, serving, and sharing Him with others.
On behalf of the Discovery Kids ministry at SBC, we would like to celebrate with you and congratulate you on your little one. We are also very excited that you are interested in doing a formal child dedication. This is a time for parents to publicly commit themselves to raise their children in the instruction and discipline of the Lord, giving opportunities to know God and establish a personal relationship with Christ. It is also a time for family and friends to show their support and intention to help these parents with their commitment to their children. There is no “saving grace” attached to this ceremony; it is simply a statement of intent and desire.

All volunteers in Discovery Kids are background and reference checked. They are also fully trained in emergency procedures and abide by the rule of three, ensuring each child is always with a group of three or more people. Security cameras throughout our buildings and gated playgrounds provide added security for your children while they are on our campuses.
