Tanzania Dorm Project

As shared in our April 14/15 services and in this video, we are directing the April Elders’ Fund offering toward building a dormitory for adolescent girls who attend our Mairowa school in Tanzania. Because of the Maasai cultural practices in this community, girls as young as nine years old are at risk of abuse and forced marriages. This dormitory will provide a safe place for them to live and study. Our goal is to raise $200,000, which will cover the building costs as well as seed money for initial staffing. We believe God is calling us to meet this need and to offer these girls a place to learn and thrive as they experience God’s love and care for them.
