The SBC Immerse Summer Challenge is back, and this year we’ll explore Chronicles in the readable New Living Translation. Immerse: Chronicles shares the stories of God’s people living out their faith after being scattered and falling under the control of foreign empires. Originally one book, 1 and 2 Chronicles, Ezra, and Nehemiah portray Israel’s history, identity, and calling to represent and truly worship God. Esther and Daniel share vibrant narratives about how God’s people faced extreme challenges in foreign lands. Reading Chronicles will remind us of our ultimate hope in God’s faithfulness to always keep His promises. Be sure to join a discussion group and take advantage of the resources we’ll be offering during this 8-week journey. Books are just $10 and will be on sale Sundays, June 2 and 9 at your campus!
