Immerse Summer Bible Challenge
June 17 – August 9, 2019
This summer, we’re embarking on an all-church journey to read through the New Testament together using an easy-to-read version of the New Testament called Messiah. Written in the New Living translation, the books are ordered by author, date written and audience; and chapter and verse numbers have been removed for easier reading. You’ll experience the Gospels and the truths about Jesus and the early church in a new and vibrant way.
The weekly reading plan is posted below, and The Messiah New Testaments are available at each campus or in the SBC Cafe bookstore for just $10 each. If you can’t afford a Bible, several have been donated, so just ask us!
If you prefer to listen to an audio version of the daily readings, you can access it on Apple Podcast or Google Play. Read together as a family and discuss what you’re learning with your kids using our Family Guide.
“Book clubs” are forming now! If you’d like to meet with others and lead a conversation about what you’re reading, fill out the form below to let us know.
The following discussion groups are open to everyone. No need to sign up!
We look forward to hearing stories of how reading Messiah impacts your life. Share your successes and insights on social media using the hashtag #SBCImmerse.
