Women’s Summer Book Club: Sensible Shoes
Tuesdays, June 4, 18, 25; July 9, 16, 23 | 6:30pm | SBC Shea | A8

The summer months are often filled with vacations and slower schedules, allowing us a chance to get lost in a great book. Between those trips to beat the AZ heat, join us for a Summer Book Club. We’ll be reading Sensible Shoes by Sharon Garlough Brown, a fictional book that also incorporates spiritual disciplines. Grab a copy in your preferred format—digital, print, or audio—and plan to participate. Whether you can make it every week or not, invite a friend and join us for great discussion and community!

There’s no cost for the book club, since you will purchase your own book, but please register so we can plan for you. Childcare is available.

I AM – Who Jesus Is Changes Everything
Wednesdays, July 10-31 | 6:30pm | SBC Cactus HSM Room

We all have different ways of describing ourselves, whether by role, nationality, or personality. But who does Jesus say He is? Why does that matter? This four-week study will explore the seven “I Am” statements of Jesus and what they mean for our lives. Together, we will explore specific Old Testament passages that connect to Jesus’ statements before diving deep into what each statement means and how they can help us know Jesus more intimately.
