What is Ruling Your Heart?

When you read or watch the news, almost everything is about the impact of COVID-19. It does not take long until your heart is tempted to turn away from God and allow something else to rule it.

Here is the sobering reality: When COVID-19 is no longer a pandemic, something else will try to rule your heart. But the truth you must remember is that God is on the throne and that will never change. Psalm 103:19 declares, “The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His kingdom rules over all.”

So, let me ask you this: What is on the throne of your heart? Only God’s rule and reign is eternal. Let us look forward to the day, “…that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Phil 2:10, ESV)
