In the video above, our pastor shares some exciting news about our plans to begin offering both online and in-person worship options on the weekend of August 23! We recognize that many will continue to join us online while others will be ready to worship at one of our campuses. Both choices are affirmed and we welcome families and individuals to choose the option that’s best for them. We will be taking every precaution to help protect those who join us, including face coverings, social distancing, limited capacity seating, and extra sanitation efforts.
Several classes, groups and programs for the fall are beginning to meet on campus and online. Our pastors and staff remain active in serving and caring for the SBC congregation and our community and are available to meet any needs you may have.

Keep Your Kids & Youth Engaged
News about when Discovery Kids and YTH will begin meeting on campus will be coming soon, but in the meantime, we want your kids to stay engaged in their relationship with God and excited about church. They can experience weekly video lessons, activities and worship as well as daily fun on social media. A new lesson is posted every Saturday and you can connect with your Discovery Kids team on their Facebook page as well!
Our youth in grades 5-12 are staying connected on Instagram TV and YouTube. They post weekly lessons and worship on YouTube every Sunday afternoon; are hosting virtual small groups on Zoom; and are interacting with students through regular posts on Instagram.
Several fun events are being planned for kids and youth, including a Scavenger Hunt and much more. Visit our events page for more info.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why did the church move to online-only services? While not mandated to take this step, we wanted to cooperate with our governor and be part of the solution to help protect our community. We also listened to advice from multiple healthcare experts who assured our leaders of the need for these measures while COVID cases were spiking in our state. Our online worship service attendance has continued to grow, and we know God is at work through this season in countless and unexpected ways.

As mentioned in the video above, your SBC leaders have sought direction from experts, and have prayerfully made plans to begin limited regathering on our campuses the weekend of August 23.
