As Tim Kimmel shared in this video you just watched about the amazing, God-led first 50 years of Scottsdale Bible, we look forward with great expectation to the next 50 and beyond.
God has grown this church from a humble beginning of 13 people in 1962, to more than 6500 meeting weekly in seven worship services on our Shea campus in the heart of Scottsdale and two services at our Cactus campus. With a plan to start other multisite campuses in the years to come, we continue to press forward to take the message of Jesus into communities throughout the Valley.
God has given us a vision to create a community of Christ-followers marked by unwavering faith and unconditional love. Whether on the Shea or Cactus Campus, we are committed to our values of transformational Bible teaching, engaging worship, authentic community, and service-based outreach, all of which are expressed through the context of grace.
God has richly blessed Scottsdale Bible with a legacy of missions and entrepreneurial ministries. Many of these have been birthed out of our church, each offering distinct blessings to the poor, the marginalized, and the underserved. Others provide help to people relocating into the Valley, to business professionals, and to families. We support dozens of missionaries around the world, and each year send hundreds of people on short-term teams to share the Gospel across the globe.
God has also shown our church tremendous favor by providing senior pastors throughout our history who are godly men and have led with hearts of integrity and submission to God’s Spirit. Partnering with many elders through the years, they have followed God’s leadership to guide the congregation to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth, connect with others in true community, and to serve others in the name of Jesus. This intentionality is nothing more than devotion and obedience to our Father in heaven, as we have seen God miraculously bless these efforts. It is with great joy that we move into the future and experience the great works He has prepared for us to do.
