Summer Series

This summer, we have an amazing line-up of speakers visiting SBC to challenge and inspire us from God’s Word. They will be teaching live in our Worship Center each weekend and streamed to our other locations. Each of our guest teachers brings a unique point of view and we’re excited to have them with us this summer!

June 23/24
Dr. O.S. Hawkins
is the President and CEO of GuideStone Financial Resources, a Christian organization that serves more than 250,000 pastors, missionaries, and church or non-profit staff members. Formerly, he served as a senior pastor for more than 23 years and was named Clergyman of the Year by the Religious Heritage of America. He has written more than 30 books and is a frequent national speaker.

June 30/July 1
Dr. Tim Kimmel 
is the Executive Director of Family Matters—a ministry committed to seeing families transformed through the power of God’s grace into instruments of reformation and restoration. Tim speaks throughout the U.S. and Europe on how to bring the best out of everyone in your family picture. He’s written 13 books and produced numerous small group video curriculums for churches. Tim has served in many capacities at Scottsdale Bible since his family began attending in 1976, and is currently a member of our Elder board.

July 7/8
Lucas Cooper
is the Senior Pastor at Bayview Glen Church—a growing and thriving multicultural church in Toronto, Canada, with people from more than 100 different nationalities. Lucas previously served at Scottsdale Bible as one of our worship leaders and then as campus pastor of our Venue congregation until 2013.

July 14/15
Dr. Brian Kruckenberg 
is the lead pastor of New City Church in Downtown Phoenix—a church that reaches more than 2,000 young adults, students and families each weekend. He previously worked as an attorney and as Corporate Counsel for Sprint, before leaving his law practice to become a pastor. He now holds his Doctorate in Ministry from Bethel Seminary and serves as an adjunct Professor at Phoenix College.

July 21/22
Bryan Loritts 
is the lead pastor of Abundant Life Church in Silicon Valley, California. He also serves as President of the Kainos Movement, an organization committed to seeing the multi-ethnic church become the new normal in our world. He has been a featured speaker at the Willow Creek Global Leadership Summit, Catalyst and a host of other events.

July 28/29
Dr. Darryl DelHousaye 
pastored in California at Grace Community Church in Sun Valley and First Baptist Church in San Lorenzo Valley before coming to Arizona in 1981. After serving as senior pastor of Scottsdale Bible for 25 years, he began his current role as President of Phoenix Seminary in 2006 and now serves as our Pastor Emeritus. Darryl maintains a rigorous schedule of preaching and teaching both locally and nationally.
