The desire of Men’s Ministry at Scottsdale Bible Church is to develop men who love God, love their families, love their fellow believers, and love the lost.
We believe that God has called men to love the Lord first and foremost and then to lead their families out of an overflow of that love, and Men’s Ministry exists to come alongside men to help them live out this calling in their lives. Through biblical teaching, personal discipleship, and authentic community, the men of our church can grow together in our walks with the Lord, and see that carry over into our families and impact our world for the Gospel. We have many opportunities throughout the week for discipleship, Bible Study, and community!

Join us as we study books, characters and topics of the Bible. The best part of these studies is that we can be ourselves. No matter where you are in your faith, you will fit in perfectly. This spring, we will be studying the Gospel of Matthew.

This weekly men’s group is currently studying “Understanding the Wounded Heart” by Marcus Warner. This study introduces a simple model for understanding the wounded heart and offers practical, transferable tools for experiencing God’s healing and transformation. These tools help people experience healing: building joy, taking thoughts captive, forgiveness, and listening prayer.

Sign UpThe Christian journey was never meant to be traveled alone. Jesus spent more time in the intentional personal dynamic than He did attracting crowds with His words and miracles. Jesus’s example of consistent, caring and compassionate one to one love for His followers while on earth perfectly demonstrated the importance and impact of men leading and discipling other men in all aspects of spiritual growth.
The “1-2-1” Men’s Mentoring Ministry uniquely offers genuine, transparent, and safe opportunities for the growing need of men to openly and safely discuss and work out with another spiritual brother the many questions, challenges, and internal battles facing all men in the church today.
The ultimate goal of “1-2-1” Men’s Mentoring Ministry is that every man at Scottsdale Bible Church is both mentoring and being mentored in a meaningful, supportive, and Christ-imitating relationship. Our mission to have men get real with one another through lifting up, building up, then encouraging and following up, will enable the men in the Body of Christ to become stronger and intentional in their faith walk and thereby better prepared for God’s call to live, lead, and share the grace and truth of the Gospel message.
Join the many men whose lives have already been changed through the mentoring journey by contacting James Delarato at jdelarato@scottsdalebible.com.
Our journey in Christ was never meant to be walked alone, and there are seasons in life when we feel the need to go deeper in learning Scripture and in sharing in regular community. The Forge Men’s Ministry does this in larger gatherings each week, and we also have a smaller weekly cohort focused on getting real with one another, prayer, gracious accountability, encouragement, and learning and teaching the Bible and other Christian books.
