Building and maintaining a healthy marriage takes encouragement, inspiration, and the right tools, and we want to help you find the support you need.

Whether your marriage is struggling or strong, the right resources, focus, and intentional effort can make all the difference.

As you review the opportunities below, feel free to contact us for pastoral care or to receive recommended steps for community and support. To schedule an appointment, email marriage@scottsdalebible.com or call 480.824.7271.

Our Counseling Ministry also offers resources and short-term counseling options. To learn more, visit their webpage. To schedule counseling, scroll to the “Request for Services” section and have both spouses fill out both forms.

SBC desires to walk with couples as they pray and consider a journey towards marriage. Contact Pastor James to get connected to a couple with biblical and experiential  wisdom.

Marriage Community Groups

At SBC, we think it is important for people to get real with one another. We believe the best way to do this is by being part of a smaller community within the larger congregation. SBC’s groups and workshops  are communities where people can build Christ-centered friendships for encouragement and support and grow in their relationship with the Lord!

Young Married Group
This group is for young married couples. We study books of the Bible and learn and share basic tools for growing in spiritual disciplines. We meet the first and third Mondays of the month.

  • All relationships take vision, intentional effort and the right tools to stay healthy and grow. These can be fostered through intentional quality time together in prayer and focused effort on specific areas of the relationship that a couple agrees upon. With literally thousands of books available on the topic of relationships, we’ve tried to narrow the field to some that the leaders in the Marriage Ministry have found helpful over the years. The listings here are those that we believe address each subject best. Recommended Reading.
