Royal Family Kids Camp

Help foster kids experience a life-changing week at camp! Royal Family Kids’ Camp serves foster care children (ages 7-11) who have experienced abuse, abandonment, and neglect. More than 13,500 Arizona kids are in foster care, and this week at camp gives them an opportunity to create positive memories in a Christian environment. Camp leaders let them know that they are loved, and more importantly, that they are lovable. Each camper receives the attention and encouragement of an adult camp counselor and a “buddy camper.” They also experience a variety of fun activities designed to build their self-esteem and help them succeed in life.
Volunteer Description: Serve as a Camp Counselor or Camp Buddy to provide encouragement and walk alongside kids. Volunteers must be 18 or older.
Volunteer Training: Saturday, May 20, and Saturday, June 3 (must attend one). Volunteer training and background checks are required.
In-town Volunteer Opportunities: Help with camp registration or a volunteer “thank you” dinner.
