Jesus is called the Word, the Life, the True Light, the Lamb of God, the Lord, the King of Israel, Rabbi and other titles. The Apostle John masterfully weaves Old Testament passages, images, and allusions in the unique presentation of his Gospel which concludes with “…these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name” (John 20:31).
