Getting Untangled: Running the Race in God’s Peace, Purposes, and Promises
(Continued from Fall 2022; new guests are welcome to join)
Teachers: Lee Sumner and Brooke Hellestrae | $25
Location: 5-8 Room (Family Life Center)
As humans, we are all tangled up in something here on earth. It is difficult to run our spiritual race without tripping or stumbling at some point, but are we stuck there? What is it that tends to tangle us up? Is it fear? Is it regret? Is it anger? Or maybe it’s something else? Getting Untangled is a Bible study with the goal of identifying struggles we all face and then focusing on the hope of God’s peace, purposes, and promises as we run our spiritual race. This study is for women of all ages and life stages, with a strong emphasis on marriage and mothering.

1 Peter: A Living Hope in Christ by Jen Wilkin
Teacher: Carol Gaulden | $25
Location: Saguaro Room (Ministry Life Building)
Jen Wilkin reminds us that our inheritance through Christ is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. In 1 Peter, a man of faith and flaws, an eyewitness to the life of Christ, challenges us to look beyond our current circumstances to a future inheritance. He shares his concerns on big picture issues for the early church, describes a believer’s true identity in Christ, and ultimately helps readers discover what it means to experience the living hope they have in Christ.
