Awana is a Wednesday night program for children ages 4 (by September 1, 2018) to 6th grade, designed to help them learn more about Jesus and the Bible while having tons of fun!
Just as with schoolwork, dedicating weekly study time to the Bible is an important component of helping our children know and love God better. Awana, which stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15), focuses on helping children learn and memorize key Bible verses while integrating fun through games and large group programming.
Serving as an Awana volunteer is a rewarding experience. We encourage you to join your child each week and serve alongside other faithful leaders in helping to equip our children to be the next generation of Christ followers.
AWANA is a volunteer run ministry and as part of registering your child for AWANA, we’re asking that parents commit to volunteer, as a Parent Helper, once per semester.
Register to be an Awana weekly volunteer or Parent semester volunteer here.
