Touch at a Distance… For Now

A recent blessing I experienced was chatting online with people in our community who are worshipping from home. Our services are reaching around the world, and my new phrase, “touch at a distance” was born. People are so in need of touch. I encourage you to be creative, so the world that tends to panic may experience hope through the Church and be pointed to our Savior.

I encourage you to make some new ways of touch a reality as the picture of His church, sharing God’s love with the world that is distant from Him. 1 Peter 1:8 says: Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy. Someday we will touch and literally see the One who our hearts long to be with in person, and oh what a hug that will be!
