NEW TO SCOTTSDALE?
Bible Study Class offered in the winter/spring (January–March)
Are you new to the area? We have a Bible study for you! Whether your move was a welcome opportunity or a dreaded event, you face tremendous change and the daunting task of starting over in a new place. Studies reveal that moving is among the top stressors, especially among women. Attending the After the Boxes Are Unpacked class is the best way to make this time of transition go more smoothly.
This class is a 10-week Bible study that addresses your emotional struggles and the opportunities for spiritual growth as you start over here. The study takes you through the important stages necessary for a successful move: letting go of the past, starting over in a new community, and moving ahead with a new life. It is based upon the updated and expanded book After the Boxes Are Unpacked and is taught by the author, Susan Miller. A seasoned mover, popular speaker, and President of Just Moved Ministry, Susan shares the biblical principles she learned as a result of her 14 moves. Learn more about Just Moved Ministry at www.just-moved.org.
