Hebrews (by Lisa Harper)
Teacher: Carol Gaulden
The Book of Hebrews is a rich, dense section of Scripture that can intimidate the most scholarly biblical student. But Lisa Harper makes digging into Hebrews fun and doable, as only she can, without losing an ounce of depth. Hebrews was a sermon for a specific people and culture in the midst of martyrdom and persecution, but is also so relevant for us today, reminding us to continue walking toward Jesus regardless of our culture or our circumstances. Join Lisa as she journeys through this bridge between the Old and New Testaments to get to the heart of the matter: Jesus is our accessible King. No childcare available.

After the Boxes are Unpacked
Teachers: Kelly Eatman, Chelsey Karlin
This is the place to be when you are new in town! Join us for a powerful, hands-on study using biblical principles and practical application to help women who are going through the transition and adjustment of moving find the courage to put down roots all over again. This study helps with the process of letting go, starting over, and moving ahead with life after a move. Based on the book After the Boxes Are Unpacked, the class materials are designed to minister to the heart of newcomers.

Who Do You Think You Are?
Teachers: Kristin Beasley, Carly Berna
The true you is calling, and she will not disappoint. Everyone has an opinion about who you are. And joining their voices are shouts from your past, screams from our culture, laughs from the mirror, and whispers from your roles in society. But what if none of these voices speak truth? What if your actual value and identity are more beautiful than you can imagine? The time is now to hear God’s truth about who you are. Join Dr. Kristin Beasley as she guides the way to embracing the true you—the real you. No childcare available.

Tuesdays, September 12–November 14, 6:30-8pm
Childcare available with registration ($30), 6:15-8:30pm

Sermon on the Mount (by Jen Wilkens)
Teacher: Monika Comick
Come learn what it means to be a citizen of the kingdom of Heaven according to Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. Seat yourself on a mountainside to learn at the feet of Jesus. Ask for ears to hear and a heart to respond to the teaching of our King as you study the Lord’s prayer and where your treasure is, and gain a foundation that endures.

Freedom From Sin, Romans 6-8 (Precept Upon Precept)
Teacher: Sandra Henry
Free from the guilt and power of sin, but what about the flesh? Discover how justification by faith relates to day-by-day living through the Holy Spirit’s power—the amazing process of sanctification. When you are ready to go deeper, prayerfully consider this inductive Bible study. No videos.

Finding Freedom
Teacher: Jody Johnston
God has an incredible purpose for us in this life. However, it’s easy to become weighed down with cares, defeat, past hurts, and other areas of sin that keep us in bondage and away from His purposes. These hindrances steal our intimacy with Christ and the joy of our salvation. This study is about becoming more like Jesus and reflecting His love and power to everyone around us.

Wednesdays, September 13–April 25, 6:30-8pm

A Bible Study for Moms
Teacher: Peggy Johnson
Every mother’s desire is to be a great mom and raise great kids, all while managing her home and loving her husband. In the busyness of life, we can get sidetracked and miss opportunities to make a difference in the hearts of our kids. This fall, we are going to look at intentional ways to apply God’s Word in ways that will impact our children’s lives and faith. Each week, you will be encouraged by teaching, small group fellowship and prayer.

This class matches the schedule of the AWANA program for children. Register your child for AWANA here.
