A Bible Study for Moms
Steadfast Love (by Lauren Chandler)
Teacher: Brooke Hellestrae
There are times when worship overflows effortlessly from a heart full of gratitude and praise. And there are times when God seems far and we feel we have nothing to offer. Throughout it all, God shows us His steadfast love. Psalm 107 is a call to worship. It reminds us that each season of life is an opportunity to reveal the anchor of our souls. Learn to face both storms and deserts with courage and trust in Jesus, and discover how tests in our journeys of faith reveal the true condition of our hearts. For there is no fear for the one who fears the Lord, the one whose soul is anchored in His steadfast love. Childcare available.
Wednesdays, September 13–November 15, 9:30-11:30am, Family Life Building
Hebrews (by Lisa Harper)
Teacher: Lisa Harmen
The Book of Hebrews is a rich, dense section of Scripture that can intimidate the most scholarly biblical student. But Lisa Harper makes digging into Hebrews fun and doable, as only she can, without losing an ounce of depth. Hebrews was a sermon for a specific people and culture in the midst of martyrdom and persecution, but is also so relevant for us today, reminding us to continue walking toward Jesus regardless of our culture or our circumstances. Join Lisa as she journeys through this bridge between the Old and New Testaments to get to the heart of the matter: Jesus is our accessible King. No childcare available.

A Different Kind of Happiness
Teacher: Helen Tadlock
In this latest book by Dr. Larry Crabb, we are challenged to experience true joy that comes from loving others sacrificially and unconditionally. We are invited to put Jesus on display, by the way we relate to one another, by being other-centered instead of self-centered, and by learning to love as Jesus loved. Those who long to love well, and are willing to “battle for a better love,” will experience a different kind of happiness in their journey. No childcare available.
Tuesdays, September 12–November 14, 9-11:30am, The Venue
Join us at 9am for a special time of worship to prepare your heart for the morning. Childcare available with registration ($30), 8:45-11:30am.

The Book of Revelation, Continued
Teacher: Cathy Wilson
What is often considered to be the most difficult book in Scripture unveils Jesus! The book of Revelation is meant to clarify what we’ve already read and studied in the Bible. Join us as we grasp the full scope of God’s Word in the revelation of His Son! Handouts and audio recordings from past classes may be accessed here. In this fall session, we will pick up with Revelation 8.

Be Ready! Living in Light of Christ’s Return, 1 & 2 Thessalonians
Teacher: Joan Lazear
The way we conceive of the future shapes the present; it gives contour and tone to nearly every action and thought through the day. If our sense of future is weak, we live listlessly and feel we have no future. The Second Coming of Jesus is the most important thing to know and believe about the future. It charges each moment of the present with hope. Paul’s two letters to the Christians in Thessalonica correct their confusion and instruct them to live forward with joyful expectancy for what God will do next in Jesus.
Covenant – Part One (Precept Study)
Teacher: Mele Simonson
God is a covenant-making and a covenant-keeping God. Everything He does is based on covenant. In this powerful study, we will examine the incredible thread of covenant running from Genesis through Revelation that will transform your understanding of God, His Word, and His plans for the future!
The Amazing Collection: Genesis – 2 Samuel
Teachers: Alison Hillier, Kristen Rutter
The Amazing Collection is written to discover the sequence of the story of the Bible and to see who God is in each book. It focuses on one book of the Bible each week and includes teaching, a personal testimony and light homework. The main goals of the study are to help you become very familiar with every book in the Bible and build understanding so that you would be transformed by the power of the Spirit and the Word of God.
Finding I Am (by Lysa Terkeurst)
Teacher: Michelle Crane
What is the deep cry of your heart? That ache in your soul that keeps you up at night? The prayer you keep repeating? Jesus not only cares about this deep, spiritual wrestling, but He also wants to step in and see you through it. Join Lysa on the streets of Israel to explore the seven I AM statements of Jesus found in the Gospel of John. This interactive and in-depth study will deepen your relationship and understanding of who Jesus is and bring freedom to your every day.
Teacher: Deb Pirtle
God has an incredible purpose for us in this life. However, it’s easy to become weighed down with cares, defeat, past hurts, and other areas of sin that keep us in bondage and away from His purposes. These hindrances steal our intimacy with Christ and the joy of our salvation. This study is about becoming more like Jesus and reflecting His love and power to everyone around us.
The Quest (by Beth Moore)
Teachers: Shela-Lyn Boxberger, Lyn Arnold
We are hard wired for intimacy and created with an innate desire to seek it. Questions are inherent in us as God’s image bearers and are essential to The Quest. Join us as we seek the Lord for a deeper intimacy in our relationship with Christ and gain an adventurer mentality knowing whose we are. Small group questions and life application lessons will be included in this class.
