This international children’s program is designed to disciple to children three-years-old through sixth-grade. The name AWANA comes from 2 Timothy 2:15 which says, “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.” The Scottsdale Bible AWANA club runs from September 15, 2010 to May 4, 2011 and serves children throughout the Phoenix area. Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University, 6:15–8:15 p.m., Chapel

We are proud to offer the 13-week Financial Peace University class offered by Dave Ramsey, noted financial and biblical advisor. This class is held at the Chapel two blocks east of the main campus. Advance registration is required, click here to register. This class give you the tools to deal with debt and save money. The average person taking this class reduces their debt by $3,500 and saves $1,000. Cost is $99 for single or couple. Intimate Encounters, 6:30–8 p.m., E105, Wednesdays, September 15–December 8.
Build a more loving and intimate marriage as you and your spouse engage in this small group home study created by David and Theresa Ferguson. It will give you the tools to experience freedom from painful emotions, unhealthy thinking and self-defeating behaviors as you are guided into vulnerability, mutual giving and affectionate caring. This class, taught by Peggy Johnson, focuses on A Woman’s High Calling: 10 Essentials for Godly Living. Are you longing to exchange the clutter and chaos for a simple focus on what’s really important? If so, there’s no better place to look for help than the Bible. There we find the essentials God values most in a woman that will put you on a path to godly living. Worship Choir and Orchestra Rehearsal, 6:30–8:15 p.m., Worship Center
Do you have a love of the Lord and a special talent in music? If so, our ministry is just for you! Our choir features over 100 vocalists and auditions are not required. For those wishing to join the orchestra, an audition is required and can be scheduled by calling 480.824.7317. We ask that everyone make at least two service commitments on Sundays and attend all rehearsals whenever possible. To find the rehearsal rooms, park in the south parking lot, come to the south patio and enter through the doors on the west end. From there, follow the sound of busy voices and laughter.
