I've got to get back and hear your sermon. I was incredibly moved when I saw this painting in the early '90s. I completely identified with the adult picture, feeling out of control. The series had an amazing impact on me, but I just now tried to find them again. I'm not to the end yet, but in much calmer waters and I think the picture played some part in a song called "The River", which is on my website, www.bobhendrenmusic.com. Like the pictures, the song has a happy ending.

God Bless

Just wanted you to know I enjoy all your sermons. I think this series is a terrific idea. I posted this video on my blog last week. I came here to see if today's sermon was available yet. Since it wasn't, I just decided to leave you a message. We love Scottsdale Bible and we love you.

I was out of town last weekend so I am watching the sermon now. I am amazed that this is possible through the internet. I thank you also for making it possible by recording the sermon and putting it on the internet.

Jamie...I can't tell you how much I enjoyed your message! I have lived through many voyages in my 60+ years....both blessings & curses.
Truthfully, most of my life has been filled with blessings with some minor curses (typical teen issues, etc). Later on in my life, I delt with the loss of my beloved mother...my sense of grief & loss was almost overwhelming.
Now, in my 60's, I have been delt with the dx of Parkinson's. This disease is NOT fun..BUT, this voyage of my life has led me to the foot of the cross...I lean on my precious Lord. I love the comment Corrie Ten Boom made when during her persecution, she stated..."there is no pit so deep, that God is not deeper still".

Jamie, I want you to know how much your messages have blessed me. My prayers are with you as you continue our Lord's work!
