Texas Relief

Please take a moment to stop and pray for those who have been devastated by the hurricane and flooding in south Texas. On August 26 & 27, our leaders prayerfully decided to direct a special Elders’ Fund offering to Texas relief. Since then, you have given more than $95,000 toward the relief efforts. We have already sent $40,000 to Convoy of Hope (www.convoyofhope.org),  an active Christian organization in the region, and our elders are prayerfully determining where the remaining funds will be sent to provide resources and help for those who are hurting. Although we have closed the Elders’ Fund giving, we encourage you to give directly to worthy organizations like Convoy of Hope, Samaritan’s Purse and others who are providing much-needed relief and supplies.
