Get Involved

Worship requires active participants! If you have a heart for drawing others into the presence of God and are ready to make a joyful noise unto the Lord, we can use your talents in many different areas.

Choir: Love to sing? Then our worship choir is the place for you. With nearly 100 vocalists ranging in age from 15–70, the choir is full of enthusiastic singers who have one thing in common—they just can’t get enough opportunities to proclaim God’s glory through song! No audition is required. The choir rehearses on Wednesday nights beginning September 5 from 7–9 p.m. through May and leads worship two to three times a month. Those with small children, physical limitations or other special circumstances have the option of singing during two out of three morning services.

Orchestra: This talented group of musicians represents all walks of life and includes structural engineers, mechanics, music teachers, doctors and stay-at-home moms—to name a few. Some were music majors in college; others played in high school and returned to their instruments later in life. Regardless of their skill level, this group is committed to communicating Biblical truth through music. No audition is required. The orchestra rehearses on Wednesday nights beginning September 5 from 7–9 p.m. through May and leads worship two to three times a month.

Band: Whether supporting the orchestra or accompanying a praise team, this group of highly skilled musicians anchors much of the Sunday morning music. Auditions are required for acoustic and electric guitar, bass, drums and keyboards. Membership in the band requires weekly rehearsals year-round with musicians serving on a rotation basis.

Drama: This community of artists is dedicated to using its dramatic gifts to enhance worship and communicate the love of God to a watching world. No audition is required. The team rehearses as needed, based on its performance schedule of three or four times per year.

Handbell Choir: A vital part of the Worship Arts ministry for over 20 years, the handbell choir is comprised of 14 musicians who are primarily trained on instruments from saxophone to trumpet, piano and voice. Armed with a good sense of rhythm and ability to read music, the choir performs a wide variety of sacred and contemporary music on a five-octave set of handbells. An audition is required. The group rehearses two-three times per month and performs four or five times per year.
