WILD (Women in Leadership Development)

What is WILD?

WILD is a leadership development program designed to equip women to more fully glorify God with their lives. The program focuses on helping women identify and develop their leadership potential and prepares them to serve with confidence in their spiritual giftedness and unique calling.

Program Objectives:

Inspire women through personal discovery and development of their gifts and skills.
Present curriculum that will challenge and define their unique calling.
Equip women for leadership within the church and beyond.
Create a community for accountability and support.

Program Cost:
$150 for the entire program; this includes all materials and books.

Attendance Expectations:
Participants are expected to attend all WILD classes. This is to ensure that you receive the maximum benefit of this program.

What Can I Expect from WILD?

First Year—First Semester:
Twelve weekly classes from February to April that focus on developing “The Leader”.

First Year—Summer Break:
Book assignments for study and application

First Year—Second Semester:
Twelve weekly classes from September to November that focus on developing “Leadership Skills”.

Second Year: Service in Leadership at SBC

Commitment to serve in a leadership role at Scottsdale Bible Church
Application of the skills learned in the first year
Quarterly meetings for follow-up and accountability
Graduation and celebration of completion: November of second year

Developing your passion
Care of a leader
Spiritual disciplines and growth
Sharing your story

Development of “Leadership Skills”:

Principles for leading others
Hats of leadership
People skills with Biblical response
Art of speaking and application
Communication skills
Unity/conflict resolution/boundaries
Organizational skills
Team building

Practical Application of Skills:
One year of service in leadership at Scottsdale Bible Church
