  August 6, 2010 will take us on a field trip to Cornerstone Christian Church in the southeast valley where we will attend their monthly scrapbooking crop night! Are you behind in your scrapbooking or want to learn how to scrapbook? Who knows - if we have enough interest, perhaps we can start our own monthly scrapbooking crop night at SBC!
  
  The information from their website states; "Grab your friends and your crafting supplies for a fun-filled evening! Some gals scrapbook and some do other crafts...everyone is welcome! We meet in B107/108 from 7 pm to midnight."
  
  Let's meet at SBC at 6:15PM on August 6th and carpool. RSVP’s required so we don’t leave anyone behind. If you'd like to drive, please let me know how many ladies you are willing to take and what time you want to return home. If you'd like a ride, please let me know the time you would like to return home and we'll try to match up the early birds and the night-owls! In the busyness of life we can get sidetracked and miss opportunities to make a difference for the Kingdom. This semester we will hear from a different teacher each week, as they share their hearts on issues important in our homes: parenting, boundaries, following God, our roles as wives etc. Each week you will be encouraged by their teaching, small group fellowship and prayer times. • Prayer Shawl Ministry

  Scottsdale Bible Women offer a wonderful ministry for those who love to serve by knitting beautiful shawls and lap robes for people who are seriously ill and will benefit by knowing they are being thought of and prayed for during their illness. In the past several months the women have given a lap robe to a man suffering the after-effects of a serious stroke, shawls to several church members dealing with cancer as well as to others. The group meets the second Thursday of each month from 10:30 a.m. until noon in room D105.
