United Cerebral Palsy of Central Arizona

United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) is a part of one of the nation’s largest health charities. Since 1952, we have assisted countless individuals with disabilities and their families, one individual at a time. Our specialty is providing a care-based approach for those with various disabilities. We continue to prove that, with proper understanding, loving support and commitment from many people working as one, the possibilities are endless. Together, we can continue to provide comprehensive services to individuals with various disabilities, including cerebral palsy, autism, down syndrome, developmental delays, and learning disabilities.

We have been awarded a government contract to provide specialized training to infant and toddler care providers. This funding allows us to offer the Program for Infant Toddler Care (PITC) free of charge to all licensed child care center staff and certified family care providers in Maricopa County. Valley Music Therapy

Music Therapy uses music to achieve individual therapeutic goals in social, cognitive, communicative, emotional, and physical functioning. Activities include singing, playing instruments, creative moments, listening to music, drawing to music, musical games and stories, Rhythmic Auditory Stimulation, sensory integration, and sound exploration. Participants do not need any musical skills or experience.

Whispering Hope Ranch
