Special Ministry Fall Camp

Join us as once again we head up to Whispering Hope Ranch in Payson for a cool, fun weekend together. We will enjoy the animals, arts and crafts, ride horses, sing around the camp fire, spend time together and best of all draw nearer to our Lord. Camp this year is September 24–26, 2010.

We welcome back campers from past years and encourage everyone to bring new friends from school, work, church, and elsewhere so they can see what a fantastic time we have at fall camp each year. This year we are inviting SuperKids (grade school–middle school students) if a parent can attend.

Royal Family Kids Camp

Royal Family Kids’ Camp (RFKC) is an unforgettable week of summer camp for children, six to twelve years of age, who live the rest of the year in group homes or foster homes. The children create powerful and positive memories to keep them “going and growing” until they return the next summer for another great week at camp. At RFKC, these special kids find the real warmth and love of family. There is no need to fear adults here. Each trusted camp cousin has charge of just two campers. Campers also have a “surrogate” grandma and grandpa as well as a large support staff of aunts and uncles. Our ratio of staff-to-campers is high to ensure success and safety.

To volunteer for RFKC contact Doug Nordman, Camp Director at 480.419.4006 or douglas.nordman@ge.com or Amy Daniels at 480.824.7267 or adaniels@sbcaz.org.

trac_campTeen Reach Adventure Camp

Our community partner Hope And A Future hosts Teen Reach Adventure Camp (TRAC), an incredible week of summer camp for teens, twelve to fifteen years of age, who live the rest of the year in group homes or foster homes. The goal of this camp is to spend quality time with each teen, encouraging them to respect themselves and others, work as a team, have fun, work hard, and make a difference. Our ratio of staff-to-campers is high to ensure success and safety.

To volunteer for TRAC contact Kelli Freeman, Camp Director at 602.740.1772 or kelli@azhope.com.
