What is Auxano (ah-za-no)?
Auxano (ah-za-no) is the Greek word meaning—grow. Auxano welcomes people to grow in community and Christ-likeness. This happens through transformational Bible teaching, facilitated table discussions in the small group format, and by cultivating a healthy and wholesome atmosphere for socializing and making friends. Auxano meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month, at 6:30–8:30 PM, at the Scottsdale Bible Chapel (one quarter mile east of the main campus, off of Shea, at 7901 E. Shea Blvd). Food and childcare are provided, with a $5 suggested donation for each.

Where, When and What to expect?
- Our Home Groups gather every first and third Thursday of each month, 6:30–8:30 PM. Since a home is a comfortable place to meet and make friends and grow in faith, each Home Group includes food, discussion of biblical curriculum, prayer, and socializing. Our goal is to grow in community and Christ-likeness. Note: No childcare at Home Groups.
- Auxano is every second and fourth Thursday of each month, 6:30–8:30 PM. At Auxano, we eat and socialize together and enjoy small group interaction and a Bible message. Auxano is “a place where everyone know your name” and a great place to find your community in a big church environment. Food and childcare are provided, with a $5 suggested donation for each.
- Please note that we do not meet on a fifth Thursday of the month.
Currently, there are three Home Groups that meet in the Scottsdale/Paradise Valley, Phoenix (Desert Ridge), and Chandler areas. Contact Bonnie Lathrop via phone: 480.824.7299 or via email: blathrop@sbcaz.org, to provide her with your contact information and a Home Group host will contact you with details and direction.
