Helpful Hands volunteers reach out into our congregation and the community with their “do-it-yourself” skills, helping with those nagging little maintenance challenges that arise. They offer help, especially, but not exclusively, to widows and single mothers. Examples of their services include programming electronic equipment, fixing fans, leaky faucets and squeaky doors. If you are handy with a wrench or hammer, this is a great way to extend the love of Christ to those in need. We are not contractors; we just like to help as we can.
James 1:27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless to this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
