Hearty Souls

Meet with Hearty Souls on Wednesday mornings

As our over-60 meeting group, Hearty Souls gathers almost every week for fellowship and special speakers. The group partners with a number of Scottsdale Bible ministries to support the work of our church. This is a very active and generous group who has invested significantly in Jordan Evangelical Theological Seminary (JETS) and even raised money to launch a church near Moscow, Russia.

Hearty Souls meets at the Chapel, 7901 East Shea Boulevard, Scottsdale, each Wednesday morning at 9:30–11:30 a.m. from October through May; the first and third Wednesdays of each month June through September. The program consists of warm fellowship, worship and a study of God’s Word. Once a month we will have lunch together following our regular program.

Our Senior Adult Ministry has the answer for you and other music lovers; our informal singing group—a Senior Adult Chorus—called “Encore.” It meets once a week on Tuesdays from 5:30–6:30 p.m. (with a break in June–August) in the Worship Center/Choir Room to sing powerful and moving melodies that have warmed our hearts forever.
Our goal, first and foremost, is to enjoy ourselves, meet other lovers of these great pieces of music and have fun. But who knows? We may be making a musical debut at Sunday morning services as well—or even Radio City Music Hall!
