Helping Hands for Single Moms
Helping Hands assists single moms to obtain their college education and financial independence. Recipients who receive funding and supportive services must be: a single mom with at least one child under the age of 11, enrolled in a minimum of 9 credits per semester, maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA, a US citizen, and not living with a domestic partner. While enrolled in college, each single mom family receives a combination of financial aid, money management and life skills training, and an abundance of care from a mentor.
Please visit our ministry partner service opportunities to see how you can serve with this ministry. These service opportunities are great hands-on activities and many of them are excellent for enrichment classes, small groups, and families.
You can also support this ministry by meeting their vital tangible ongoing needs.
