Local Outreach
Our mission from Christ is to take the good news of Jesus with us into the world in word and deed. The evidence of this should be seen first in our local community.
Jesus emphasized and displayed love. God uses it to describe his essential nature. The Holy Spirit pours it into our hearts. Jesus stressed that our love for each other and our neighbors would be how the world would know we are His disciples. We are to love God with all our being; heart, soul and mind. We cannot claim to love God and not love others.
By loving and serving our neighbors and community, we desire to:
- holistically meet individuals needs (spiritual, physical and emotional).
- dynamically impact our local community in the name of Jesus.
- open people’s hearts to the life–changing message of Jesus.
- glorify God in all we do.
Connecting Through Serving
In addition to our service opportunities with our Local Ministry Partners, we are excited to provide additional opportunities that allow our members to get connected and join in service together. This is a great way to meet others in our congregation and to get your family, enrichment class or Bible study group serving together to make a lasting impact for God’s Kingdom in our community.
