Nurture Team

Be part of the Great Commission by nurturing a missionary

The Missionary Nurture Team is a committed group of people who feel privileged to care for our missionaries through prayer, correspondence and encouragement. They share in their successes as well as their trials and help welcome them back to the U.S. by assisting them to get “connected” with the Scottsdale Bible Church body. They help communicate the physical, emotional and spiritual needs to the Outreach Ministry team.

Nurture Representative

A Nurture Representative develops a personal relationship with the missionary by:

• Praying regularly
• Maintaining regular contact through email, mail, phone or in person
• Remembering them on special occasions: birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, births, etc.
• Communicating with their enrichment class to keep them informed
• Working with the Outreach Office when the missionary is in the U.S. on furlough
• Attending monthly team meetings

Enrichment Class Contact

An Enrichment Class Contact helps the class develop a personal relationship with their missionary by:

• Leading a monthly prayer time in the class for the missionary
• Maintaining regular contact through email, mail, phone or in person
• Giving the class monthly updates about the missionary
• Remembering them on special occasions: birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, births, etc.
• Welcoming and including your missionary into your enrichment class when they in the U.S. on furlough
• Provide opportunities for them to share about their ministry during class time
