Within Africa we are specifically engaged in the following countries:

We are also involved in training national leaders throughout Africa through pastor and key lay leadership development conferences in Kenya.

Godsave and Beatrice Ole Megiroo: TANZANIA

Godsave is an IT specialist by profession. He studied medicine for one year at the University of Dar es Salaam, worked as a supervisor in Sponsors Relations for World Vision Tanzania, did System Training and internships in Thailand, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda and California. He studied Management and Administration courses at Cambridge International College-UK. God called him to resign his IT position and respond to the call to minister and serve the poor, the orphans and the widows. In partnership with Mike Rothery, Godsave helped Imara Ministry Foundation commence. He is the Director for Mercy Ministry Division within Imara. He leads, directs, develops and manages the implantation of all aspects of Imara’s development and relief ministry. Affiliated with Scottsdale Bible since 2006.

Mike and Lyndall Rothery: TANZANIA

Mike and Lyndall Rothery were married in 1980 in Western Australia. They were sent by their home church from Perth, Western Australia to Tanzania in February 1994 with their three children. Grown now, their three children all live in New Zealand. Mike and Lyndall lead Imara which they established in 1994. Mike’s focus is specifically in Pastor Training and Leadership. Affiliated with Scottsdale Bible since 2006.

Nancy Spencer: KENYA

Nancy directs Dynamic Churches International (DCI) for Africa and lived in Kenya for 18 years. DCI’s vision is equipping leaders of the local church in a disciple-making process. DCI focuses on small-group ministry as a platform for discipleship, evangelism and leadership development. DCI is facilitated through seminaries, Bible schools, Christian organizations and various church denominations. Nancy’s team of four Kenyans has introduced the DCI throughout Africa including Uganda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Rwanda and the DRC. God has allowed DCI to help churches understand their biblical priorities, become effective in discipleship, evangelism and leadership development and plan for impacting growth. Affiliated with Scottsdale Bible since 1983.

Dennis Tongoi: KENYA

After graduating from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1981, Dennis was led into vocational Christian service. He is currently the Africa Regional Director for Church Mission Society (CMS). Previously he was a consultant promoting the ministry of social transformation in CMS churches in nine African nations. Dennis is also an associate with Harvest Foundation (based in Phoenix, Arizona). He helps to coordinate the Samaritan Strategy Africa Working Group, a team of trainers equipping church, business and political leaders throughout Africa in holistic discipleship that seeks to transform communities to reflect the Kingdom of God. Affiliated with Scottsdale Bible since 2005.
