International Workers
At Scottsdale Bible we highly value our ability to release our resources, both human and financial, to join with the ongoing ministry efforts of our missionaries (known as international workers) and national ministry partners. There are currently more than 50 international workers who are a part of our Scottsdale Bible team. Our national partners include local national churches, seminaries, Bible colleges, and national ministry leaders. Scottsdale Bible has prayerfully decided to strategically focus our international ministry on three regions of the world.

Following the example of Christ, it is every believer’s life mission to be examples of Him to those with whom we come in contact. Some are called to stay and be His witnesses in their individual neighborhoods, while others are led to serve Him in remote, strange, and foreign lands. Scottsdale Bible Church supports 56 missionary units, those that answered the call to take His message of grace in love, in 27 different locations around the world. These families are working with un-reached people groups, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists and Atheists. Our international workers are church planters, Bible translators, work in medical missions, radio and media ministries, provide compassionate care to those in need as well as oversee seminaries and Bible colleges who are training leaders to bring God’s Word into some of the most war-torn, poverty-stricken countries today.
Scottsdale Bible currently supports international and national workers and churches in Africa, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, the Americas, and other creative access countries. Twenty-six of these family units grew up attending SBC. Others are nationals from their own country of service or families that are from other countries serving away from their home lands. Despite the diversity of cultures or the differences in genders, our missionary families are united in their desire to see the message of Christ lead individuals and whole families to the saving grace He extends.
International Ministry Goals
Within each of our three regions we are engaged with our international workers and national partners doing a variety of work that encompasses of one or more of these key ministry goals:
- Train and equip national leaders (through seminaries, Bible colleges, pastor and leadership conferences)
- Reach the unreached
- Ministry within the 10 – 40 window
- Strengthen the local church in each region
- Compassionate care for the poor
Serving in International Ministry
Scottsdale Bible is actively invested in living out the Great Commission, so a large part of our international work involves releasing the members of our local body to work with our international partners as a part of an extended ministry team. We send out over 300 people on various short-term mission teams to over a dozen different countries each year. To discover how you can join us on one of these life changing trips visit our short-term ministry page.
