Sponsor A Child
At Scottsdale Bible we are reaching villages, one child at a time. Child sponsorship provides you with the opportunity to truly impact the life of a child, their family, and their entire village in Tanzania. Money raised through child sponsorship helps to meet your sponsored child’s most basic needs: better health, better education, and better income opportunities. The child sponsorship program works in conjunction with our other Tanzania Project initiatives to vastly improve the overall development and welfare of the community.
Why should I sponsor a child? Because we are seeing how child sponsorship can change a child’s life. One example of this life change can be seen in Fatina’s story.
What does being a child sponsor look like? What are the specific commitments?
- Select a Child Sponsorship packet.
- Complete and return your Sponsor Contact information sheet.
- Pray regularly for your sponsored child.
- Write to your sponsored child at least four times each year.
- Pay $35 per month (check written to Scottsdale Bible Church by 1st of month).
- Three year sponsorship commitment with 60 days notice should you need to terminate this sponsorship after that time period.
We have children waiting for Sponsors now so please pray for new Child Sponsors to come forward.
Pray for your sponsored child
If you would like to support our ministry in Tanzania through prayer please consider joining our Tanzania Project Prayer Team. Your personal time and commitment in praying for the Tanzania Project will make a huge difference. Learn more about how to get involved in the Tanzania Project Prayer Team.
Communicate with your sponsored child
If you would like to communicate with your sponsored child we encourage you to do so as often as you like. You may send a letter to your child by emailing it to tanzania@scottsdalebible.com. We will print your letter and send it with a future short term mission team to Tanzania to give to your sponsored child.
Visit your sponsored child
If you would like to visit your sponsored child please pray about joining us on a future short term mission team to Tanzania. We have many teams that visit Tanzania each year.
