Educating Children

Our vision for these Scottsdale Bible supported schools, Kondoa Integrity School (KIS) and Mairowa Integrity School (MIS), is to be widely recognized throughout Tanzania for academic excellence – particularly in English, Math, Science, the Arts and Sports. We want their staff and students to exhibit a healthy biblically based world view. We envision eager students who are confident both about learning and ultimately contributing to their community and to Tanzania. Both KIS and MIS will be major sources of community pride. School leaders are working hard to maintain high academic standards while reducing the long term dependency on external resources.

We are blessed to have the majority of the teachers at our two schools trained for two years at Joshua Teachers Training College. This is the only Christian teachers’ training college in Tanzania and this college is also highly ranked also for its academic training.

There are two very important reasons the students in our schools continue to excel academically:

Our Teachers love to teach and they love the children at our schools. Get to know our teachers and learn more about how the teachers in our schools differ from teachers in Tanzanian public schools.

Our Scottsdale Bible Teachers Committee. Learn more about who they are, what they do for our Tanzania schools, and how you can get involved.
