G.Y.M. (Growing YOUR Marriage) Small Group Studies
We believe that the greatest marriages are those where both husband and wife are putting time and energy into growing significantly in their personal relationship with Christ and their marriage by putting Him at the center.
Every married couple also needs to invest in ongoing training and education to further understand and live the godly and abundant lives intended by God. Our vision is that marriages at Scottsdale Bible will be more resilient and, thereby resistant to the whims of society and to become God’s change-agents and godly Display Cases of Christ’s relationship with the Church in their circles of influence and society in general.
These small group studies cover a variety of subjects that build relational strength and promote communication, and enhance intimacy in marriage. They include such topics as:

We have searched for the very best educational opportunities and tools to help marriages with the everyday issues of life that you’ve told us in our survey you would like to strengthen.
Below the class descriptions and pictures on this page, you’ll find a simple pre-registration form that will give us contact information for you, as well as your general locale and your choice of day or evening. Some classes will have child care provided. If you desire child care, please indicate that on the form. When there are enough couples interested in a given night, we will contact you with the details. The cost of each of these studies is $22 per couple or individual and includes the associated study guide. When we determine there is sufficient interest in a given class, you will be sent a registration page that includes a payment form. There is no additional charge for child care if offered.

No Greater Love
A 6 week DVD study covering issue avoidance, trust, growing marital friendship, learning to desire change, admitting and restoring hope in our brokenness, fixing small things, and similar truths based on the move of the same name.
FireProof Your Marriage
A 6 week DVD study based on the movie Fireproof that helps us appreciate our God-designed differences, the meaning of covenant, how to break free of life’s temptations, offering and giving forgiveness, and how to love unconditionally.
Soul Healing Love
An 8 week study from Dr’s. Tom and Beverly Rogers that walks participants through the identification of our soul wounds and how to break the habits that hurt others and ourselves.
The 5 Love Languages
A 12 week DVD study from Dr. Gary Chapman that helps couples discover each other’s love language and how to grow a stronger marriage using them.
