Mentoring

We believe that the local church should provide the most significant support, encouragement and training-ground from which to build fantastic marriages. Doing so will reverse the trends in divorce, living together outside of marriage and unhappy marriages—bringing glory to God and stability to our community.

The Marriage Mentoring Ministry recognizes that established, more mature marriages (MENTORS) can model godly character by sharing their lives and experiences with younger or recently married couples (MENTEES). Our vision is to see the next generation of marriages thrive and be prepared to pick up the mantle of leadership in the church and community. They will become models for the generations that follow and drastically reduce the divorce rate in our community through an ever-deepening relationship with Christ.

Our mission is to recruit and train one mature couple for every younger couple who sees the value of mentoring, and to give both mentors and mentees the tools for effective personal and marital growth in their relationship with Christ, their spouse and their community.
