Marriage Proactive

Creating a good marriage takes several things—all worth considering.

  • A vision for what God will do with your life and your marriage as it grows
  • An individual, intentional and purposeful walk with Christ
  • A covenantal commitment to each other
  • Ongoing learning and service together

In other words with ongoing learning and serving together, a truly great marriage takes – Vision, Intention and the Means to get there.

Your SBC Marriage Ministry invites you to accept a challenge to proactively seek these four, that you might become all that God desires us to be – marriages that are great Display Cases for the relationship between Christ and His Church (us).

If you’ve been married 4 weeks, or more than 40 years, and have, or want, a vision for a marriage transformed by Christ – we’ve the means to help you along the way – and the two of you provide the intention. Great marriages only happen on purpose, never by accident.
