Couple Care
Our desire is to ensure that every married couple at Scottsdale Bible Church and in our community has the help they need to create a godly, joyous marriage.
Some marriages have struggled for years; some have only recently encountered obstacles they feel unequipped to handle. Recognizing there are many struggling couples, our mission is to provide hope and an awareness of opportunities and tools available. We desire to engage every couple in the church, and create tools that give these couples new insights into God’s plan for their lives—challenging them to work on themselves and their marriages.
Marriage911 is an individual study completed with a same gender friend or SBC provided partner that helps individuals, who are struggling in their marriage, learn healthy and productive ways to deal with their difficult circumstances. It’s a Christ-centered 12 session program that helps the individual place their focus and energy into areas that first helps them remain/become healthy and whole in the midst of a crisis, and commonly becomes the foundational keys to turning around a troubled marriage.
Upon completion of the Marriage911 study many individuals are ready to implement the 40 Day Love Dare that was beautifully illustrated in the FireProof movie. The book walks the individual through forty days of changing their actions in their marriage, and helps them make positive ones before their spouse that are intended to become changed habits in their marriage.
