A part of the Marriage Ministry, First5 is the place for young (20’s and 30’s) engaged and newly married couples (first 5 years) at Scottsdale Bible. First5 offers hope and encouragement to Young Couples by providing weekly enrichment opportunities, regular home group meetings, monthly social activities, and special events (retreats, conferences), to help meet the following objectives:
- encourage couples to actively live out God’s design for marriage
- establish connections with other Young Couples and other ministries at SBC
- provide a fun, healthy environment for growth
- encourage those experiencing challenges early in marriage
This class connects young couples like you with other young couples and ministries at Scottsdale Bible. Our teaching and interaction revolves around our most significant relationship, marriage. In the context of marriage and relationships, we explore contemporary issues that we are faced with each day, and examine how God wants us to respond to the opportunities and challenges of life in the 21st Century. First5 is a highly interactive class, with plenty of discussion and sharing.
