Financial Stewardship

Vision

We are a Christ centered Stewardship ministry. Our vision is to help others understand and apply biblical principles of stewardship to their lives for the glory of God, and in turn, to develop a stronger walk in Christ. Finances and worldly possessions, or the pursuit of them, can be a stumbling block for so many in achieving a right relationship with Jesus. The bible speaks more about finances and stewardship than any other subject.; and yet, so many of us are unaware of these basic truths.

Mission

Our mission is to provide regular, easy-to-use, and effective resources that educate, encourage, and motivate our members to live their lives as good stewards, putting Christ in the center of all of their thoughts and actions.

We do this by providing education (in class or virtually) and helping others develop their spiritual walk with God at home, work and play. We provide a variety of classes and events, schedule one-on-one budget coaching and give direction to those with emergency needs as approved by Scottsdale Bible Church pastors.

We wish to partner and cooperate with all Scottsdale Bible ministries and enrichment programs. Because finances and stewardship is interwoven throughout our lives, we know that we can be of service to those groups who may want us to speak to their group, or may want to enroll in a class or small group study just for them. We are anxious to work with you to fulfill your needs in these areas as they develop. Please contact us to design something just for you!

Getting Started

Understanding that God owns it all is the first step to understanding how to be good stewards for the Lord. All that we have, or have accomplished, is through Him and a gift from Him. Are we using our gifts and possessions for kingdom purposes? Are we stewarding our finances in a way to glorify our Lord?

Everything in the heavens and earth is yours, O Lord…riches and honor come from you oh Lord….and it is at your discretion that men are made great and given strength. 1 Chronicles 29:11-12
