Counseling

We are blessed in our community to have the Scottsdale Bible Biblical Counseling Center which is staffed with licensed Christian professionals and numerous trained Christian lay people reaching out to our church family and community in their times of need. We are a no-fee facility and confidentiality is one of our major priorities.

Mission

The mission of our Counseling Center is to glorify God and help others remove barriers that prevent a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We provide professional counseling, lay counseling, Stephen Ministry, and a variety of support groups. This outreach of God’s love is for any individual who is hurting, both in the congregation and in the community.

Caring Conquerors is a biblically-based support group for men and women and their caregivers who are facing life-threatening and long-term medical illness. Participants will receive support and encouragement to endure both the physical and emotional pain that often accompanies chronic medical illnesses, learn methods for coping and nurturing relationships during difficult periods and gain hope from the truth found in scripture. CareGiver Support, a support group for those caring for older adult loved ones, meets on the first and third Sundays of each month (except on holiday weekends). This group features biblical teaching from Psalms on managing one’s emotions as a caregiver. During the small group discussion time, there are opportunities to interact with others who care for an elderly person. There is no fee.
