College/Young Adults

The College Group seeks to meet the needs of young people who are in a very transitional time of life. We do this through a mix of corporate worship and teaching, small groups, fun activities, mission trips and individual accountability.

somanorth is the congregation of Scottsdale Bible Church that is designed specifically for young adults—married couples, singles and college students. We are committed to developing devoted followers of Christ who observe all that He commanded.

We gather on Sunday evenings at Scottsdale Bible for corporate worship and teaching—the music is passionate (and loud), the teaching is Biblical and relevant, and we frequently continue our worship by getting to know one another over dinner. Smaller fellowships called home groups meet throughout the week to study Scripture, pray and fellowship together.

We offer regular opportunities to serve our community and our world. Interested in soma? Our Sunday gathering (6:30 p.m. beginning March 29 in the High School Building) is the best place to start!

somanorth Morocco Mission Trip
June 27–July 11
11 a.m.–7 p.m., Al Hoceima, Morocco (map)
This team of 5 young adults from somanorth will be traveling to Morocco to help rebuild homes in areas ravaged by an earthquake in 2004, and sharing Jesus' love with the people there. Please pray for them as they go! (close)

June 29–July 16

This combination team of somanorth young adults and students from the High School Ministry will be traveling to the Czech Republic to teach English to students at summer camps. Please pray for them as they are there until July 29. (close)

July 4

Come celebrate Independence Day with SOMA! We’ll be cheering the Red, White, & Blue with all-American burgers, hotdogs, snowcones, and of course, watching FIREWORKS at the park.
