Volunteer Forms
Welcome to the Children’s Ministry team! We love our volunteers are so thrilled you are joining us. God has called you to be a light to our children, building them to know and love Him. The Bible tells us in Psalm 100:1-3, “Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Let us praise Him in everything.” May He bless you as only He can as you embark on this important and life-changing role as a Children’s Ministry volunteer.
Our children are a precious gift. Our application process for volunteers is an important safeguard to ensuring our children’s continued well-being and growth in Christ. Please complete the following steps to become a “certified” volunteer with the Children’s Ministry of Scottsdale Bible Church:
Once you have completed the required forms and online training, please send to Mary Jennison by fax (480.707.0499), email (scan and send to mjennison@sbcaz.org), or drop off at Scottsdale Bible Church, 7601 E. Shea Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ 85260. You are permitted to serve, supervised, one week in your desired area while we await the background check competition. This allows you and the ministry leader to access if this is the area that you are best suited to serve. Once the background check is complete and you’ve been cleared, you will be notified of your accepted status and your placement in a ministry role will become effective.

8 a.m.–10:45 a.m., Kidz Check (map)Our early morning Sunday school program for grades 1-4 is taught in a traditional style and offers a worship segment in Body Shop during the 8 a.m. service. During the 9:30 a.m. service, children in grades 1 & 2 will take part in a traditional Sunday School program as well (see Rush Hour at 9:30 a.m. for grades 2-4).
Parents, please check your childen into their assigned classrooms. If your child is not yet assigned a class, please visit Kidz Check. For more information or to volunteer, please call Kelli Moss at 480-824-7220.

6:15 p.m.–8:15 p.m., Kidz Check (map)AWANA is an incredible international children's program designed to diciple children 2 years old through sixth grade. The name AWANA comes from the Bible in 2 Timothy 2:15 which says, "Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed."
Our club offers a Puggles program for children 2 years of age, a Cubbies probram for 3-4 year olds, a Sparks program for Kindergarten through 2nd graders and a Truth & Training program for 3rd through 6th graders.
Our club meets every Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and each night consists of handbook time where they learn God's word, Council time where we bring God's word into relevance for our kids and a high-energy game time where we play AWANA games and clubbers' choice games that the kids really love!

Many winners will be awarded in many categories, including our two new categories "outlaw" and "pink." Plus, we'll have other fun events too like a bouncer for the kids, a movie room for the little ones, hot dogs, hamburgers, Krispy Kream Doughnuts and much more!
